It’s raining today.
Soggy, dreary, damp, gray.
Might as well have some fun with it, huh? So today’s Etsy picks might have rain in mind, but they’re sure to brighten your day.
My first pick today is from the Etsy shop Naturally Unique (Naturallyuniquerock). They make “Functional Rock Creations from Lake Superior” and my pick is a rain gauge. If it’s going to rain, might as well know how much you’re getting, right? Made with a rock base and wrapped in copper wire, this rain gauge is a great find for your favorite gardener or weather buff.
My second pick is from Skin Like Butter (SkinLikeButter), luxury bath and body products. I love the smell of fresh rain, how about you? I know it’s hard to buy perfume online, I get that. This cute roll on “Rain” scented perfume for $8.50 is the perfect size and price to try. Even better, she offers samples sets so you can smell them all first before choose the one you want.
Next pick is from Steel Ribbons (steelribbons), modern metal art that is as functional as it is beautiful. I’ve always been fascinated by wind chimes and rain chains, and as a gardener I’m always looking for something interesting for my yard. Rain chains are an old fashioned, decorative way to channel rain and they make a beautiful water feature for yards and gardens. I’ve seen them made with wood, glass, but the simplicity and design of this rain chain is just stunning!
Since I love coffee, I couldn’t resist picking a rainy themed mug. I found one from Retro Rocket Antiques (RETROROCKETANTIQUES). This vintage mug has an adorable picture on the front and on the back reads “a friend is someone who lends you an umbrella on a rainy day.” Awww! Fill me up, buttercup!
Last pick for today is from Pretty Whittle Things (PrettyWhittleThings). Everyone needs to save for a rainy day, right? How clever to have such a great looking money box to do it with? The window on the front lets you see just how big your fund is getting. What will YOU do with your rainy day fund?
I hope you are staying dry and you enjoyed today’s Etsy picks. I’m going to put on my rain boots and jump in some puddles. Ok, maybe I won’t jump, but I’ll certainly walk in them.

Until next time, stay inspired and be crafty!
